Am I correct on this

Our present Juniors and seniors are from Kills first two years recruiting classes. Brewster was a pretty good recruiter (I think last years seniors (which were very good)) were his, and were probably the reason we did pretty well. Kill did about as good those first two years as he could but with the win/loss record Brewster left him it was difficult to recruit. The present Sophs and Freshman,of course, are Kills recruits and probably on average at a higher level than his first recruits. This coming year (if we hold on to the verbals) recruits look like his best year ever.

So -- maybe we have to take a step backward to get ready for some banner years in the future

I think you are spot on...we have a LOT of incoming talent.

You're wrong about the recruiting classes. Of the impact seniors that graduated last year and Maxx, only Zach Epping and Tommy Olson were Brewster recruits. The rest were Kill's recruits.

Gopher's 2013 recruiting class is pretty weak. A lot of guys are not even with the program anymore.
