So, I'll probably kick myself for even asking, but just off the top of my head, what exactly about either Noem or DeSantis (a couple of the favorite Lib whipping targets) would be NOT "normal sane healthy"? Have you seen anything from either one of these governors that has been radical?

I'm talking about specifics, not just "they may have supported Trump" or you disagreed with how they approached the pandemic. What from either one has led you to believe they would be loony tunes?

Strictly looking at each of their performances for the purposes of leading their state as a governor, it looks like both have been EXTREMELY successful and showed very strong leadership through the pandemic.
The only acceptable Republican is one who is overtly anti Trump. Unless you’re Romney, then even he is unacceptable. No Republican can win without at least paying lip service to Trump supporters. It’s a way to make all Republicans unacceptable and push for more Dems. I actually had a long convo with a never Trump former Republican, who told me every Trump Republican must be voted out of office and that’s the only way for the party to be cleansed. That is obviously not doable, unless you want socialism.

LOL.

First of all, Trumpism is a greater danger to this nation than socialism.

And secondly, Democrats aren't socialists, nimrod.

I’d take a moment to mention 45 is possibly going to run again. He is fundraising like a demon. I wouldn’t put him in the past just yet.
He just needs the money to prop up his businesses.

If he wins it will be because of the Biden/Harris CF.
None of this mythical "CF" matters, it's mostly fake outrage pushed by vested interests. If the economy is rocking most people don't give a shit.

I hope neither of them make it to 2024. I would take Mark Cuban over both of them even tho according to dumbasses here I HATE rich people.🙄

Democrats would be a right wing party in most of Europe.

Might want to let the far left wing of your nut job party know they aren’t socialists. They actually call themselves socialists, dildo.

I laughed at that one, too.

You Capitol Stormers, oath keepers, Trumpists, crazed 80 percent of the republican party: a reminder from the past, from the grave

You're wading in gasoline,
Don't play with matches.

I don’t see kidnapping members of congress in that plan. Looks like a shoddy legal strategy to me that the courts would reject, and so would the American people. But you hide under your bed shivering at HOW CLOSE WE CAME.
"Shoddy". A SCOTUS with a 6-3 Conservative majority would surely reject. Thou sayeth our Legal Expert. He knows.

Oh stop it. Virtually no one thinks what happened on 1/6 was a “nothing burger” or that the rioters shouldn’t be punished or that it wasn’t primarily Trump supporters that did it.
"Virtually no one" except about half of Trump supporters including several on this board. Fraud.

Would kidnapping the likes of AOC, Schumer, or Pelosi be wrong?

I’m sure Hillary and Gore explored every legal angle. It’s not that it didn’t work, they couldn’t get their own VP to go along.
Al Gore couldn't get VP Al Gore to go along?

Al Gore conceded the race after SCOTUS ruled, long before the EC votes were counted.

More brilliant legal analysis from Fool2.

Is that like kids being beaten on the way to entering this country on the border. Women being raped and drugs being walked right in. Covid being walked in with ease, too. Virtually no one on the left cares!

It doesn't seem like anyone cares about anything, sir!

Hillary thinks it was stolen from her, just ask her.

I think it was stolen from Trump.

Am I not allowed to think like that greatness known as Hillary?

Noem has gone all in on Trumpism and is Sarah Palin 2.0. What has she done that impresses you besides "I did the NOTHING about Covid look at me!" She's such a talented politician she won the governor's race by 3 points. In South Dakota. Where no previous R had won by less than 10 since the 70's.

DeSantis had a chance to be the leader of the post-Trump party but went all in on Trumpism instead. It has painted him into a corner on several issues as he has to show how hard core he is. He's certainly preferable to Kristi, but not by much. A real leader wouldn't feel the need to kiss Trump's ring.

Conservative as an ideology is opposed to radically different interpretations of rules and norms. I doubt more than 1 would vote in favor of this ridiculous strategy. You don’t have to be a scotus expert.

You just WANT them to have supported this, to feed your hate and terror. It’s bizarre psychology. Had they gone forward with this, it would have energized Democrats for decades, even if it failed. Look how much mileage you got out of a few thousand people “storming the capitol “.

Along with being an idiot/spineless. If you think being a blind Trumper = a "normal sane Republican" more power to you. There isn't really a distinction anymore, which is the point.

No, I meant Trump couldn’t even get Pence to go along.
my point is that both gore and Clinton absolutely considered all kinds of fringe legal strategies. We just don’t know about them and they decided against it.
