Watched a few games, and I find it ridiculous watching kids pulling up from NBA three point range time and time again. Play with the same lines on the court as you have all season. Would be a much better environment than the stale Target Center, and be a showcase four our State university.

I agree with you on that one of my biggest pet peeves is when they pull up from the nba 3 point line!

Yep! Would be little better atmosphere than playing games in that old, close building.
 

I agree, Williams Arena would be a much better venue than the Target Center for the state tournament. The T-Wolves shootout should also be in williams but that will never happen since the wolves sponsor it.
 



Has the MSHL ever explained why the (many) rows of seats have to be removed behind each basket at Target Center? How does that decision benefit the tourney?
 

Unless it's recently changed, last I heard rental at Williams Arena was $10,000 per day for the MSHSL.
Guess they treat it like a business rather than a "showcase for the U".
 

Those dates are reserved for the NIT.

The MSHSL is incredibly paranoid about HS cheering sections, which is why they make the Target Center look like an arena in the middle of a prison.
 




Sorry if this has been posted already, but does anyone know how much it will cost to watch both the De La Salle and Apple Valley game today?
