I saw Alipate play QB for Jefferson High School four or five times. I always liked his swagger. He had a cruddy high school team, but I never got the feeling that he was going to be a Big 10 quarterback. At the time, I thought he had the body for a linebacker.
Yesterday, I'm pretty sure my program said he was 6'5" and 269. Is that a misprint? He looked pretty big to me, but not that big. He didn't get a lot of opportunity, but I don't think he did anything to impress.

269? Honestly I thought he would be more around 280-85ish. I was up at the campus like a month ago. And my friends who go to the U say the only time they ever see him is while eating. I played against him (not personally) in high school (Lakeville North) and he was big. He trucked players on our team. I dont think he could ever play LB in college though. Way to slow for that, unless he got way faster since high school. Maybe DL but is he aggressive enough? I wonder if he will switch positions in the future unless he is positive he can beat out Gray. But if he ever plans to play LB he needs to work on his speed IMO.

He did look very big at the spring game. Saw him during warm-ups and he had at least 20-30 unneeded lbs around his mid-section. I saw him standing with Garin and he looked at least 3o pounds bigger than Matt.

Might want to push back from the table.

Moses played some DE as a freshman at Holy Angels.

He looks big but he doesn't look fat to me. But yeah, he does look atleast 20 lbs bigger than Garin.

he looked really big (not talkin strong) when i saw him at the Gopher/Michigan St. game. How is his footwork at QB. Maybe if he lost 20 or 30 pounds he would be a legit QB and could enter the draft one day since he is a prototypical pocket qb who is 6'5. scouts would love him
