I didn't grow up near Alexandria, but have visited the area many times. It's a decent sized school district. Have there been any Division 1 recruits from the area?

I don't know about football, but Sam Steidl played for the U in baseball in the early 2000s.

Gary Seruym (sp?) who pitched for the Twins back around 1980 was from Alexandria, not sure if he even played college ball though.
