Holy smokes! What talent on both teams. Imagine having one of those QBs here.

Oklahoma is really taking it to Alabama right now. Hope they hold on.

Saban is pissed because the refs made the correct call. That was PI, no doubt about it.

Now if FSU takes down Auburn can we hear a little less about how great the SEC is?

This loss drops them to 5-0-0-1-1-0-0 this year.

Win, loss, tie, injury loss ( other teams injuries don't count), beat ourselves, screwed by refs, didn't care because it wasn't a prestigous enough opponent and/or bowl. Near as I can tell, no SEC team has lost a bowl game since the 1937 thriller when Santa Clara dropped LSU 6-0. BTW, this loss doesn't change the fact that the last place SEC team is still the 14th best team in the nation.

Tonight was a total disservice to the nation. A 1 loss SEC team losing to a non- Big XII champ is impossible!

What are you talking about? The Tide was favored by 17.5 and were rated higher than the Sooners. Yet they lost! Just like a favored Minnesota team lost to Syracuse. Therefore:

1. Alabama should be embarrassed;
2. Alabama played pathetic;
3. Alabama didn't take Oklahoma seriously and they had no right to do that;
4. Saban might not be that great of a coach anymore;
5. Alabama needs more playmakers;
6. Alabama's defense is a sieve;
7. McCarron makes bad decisions;
8. Saban managed the clock poorly;
9. Alabama just didn't want it that bad;
10. Can you believe Alabama thought they deserved to be in a better bowl?
11. You can't argue that Alabama football is going backwards;
12. Alabama's running backs don't cut properly;
13. Alabama needs more speed;
14. Alabama receivers need to get more separation;
15. Alabama's coordinators are inferior to Oklahoma's;

Sound familiar?

And now it's a certainty a Big Ten team (Michigan State) will finish #2 or #3 in the final (AP) poll, and that another one (Ohio State) if it beats Clemson on Saturday night likely will finish #4 or #5. If that occurs, will the Big Ten still be getting torn a new one by the national media?

Hate to sound like a junior high assistant coach, but Oklahoma clearly wanted it more. Their chili was extremely hot!

Seriously, Oklahoma's defensive front simply dominated Alabama's O-line. My guess is the highly-regarded junior LT whose name I simply cannot spell will not be declaring himself eligible for the NFL draft. He looked like a UDFA tonight instead of a projected first-round pick.

Kill should be on the phone today with JC. Just taking his temperature and talking about the Gophers.

Waste of Time

JC Hausenhauser didn't have the Gophers in his top five, kid thinks he is to big time for Gophers. I could see him switching to FSU or LSU something like that if Alabamas coach suddenly leaves to NFL.

No.

The best part of course, was the victory. Coming in a close second was Nick Saban's post-game. It was a repeat of the Auburn loss. To paraphrase, Coaches, particularly him were blameless. Those damn players just didn't get it done. ;)

Roll Tide! This female Bama fan, wearing her finest Bear Bryant-inspired houndstooth shirt, decided to fight what appears to be an entire Oklahoma fraternity. What gives? They were all so nice after they won it all last year? 32 seconds in and it really gets good.

Those people must have said something really bad, since she looks like a reasonable person.

I prefer the version with Jim Ross, especially considering Jim Ross was probably at the game last night:

The lady was there with her husband and three kids supposedly. Classy lady.

The showed a shot of Jim Ross on the sidelines.
I t

Jim Ross was on the sidelines and he looked a lot thinner, healthier and more relaxed than during his WWE Rrassling commentary days.

Yesterday was a great day for OU and ol' JR.

Tonight was a great night for T Boone Pickens and others in OK.

If that was a guy he would have been punched. I hate sexism.:cool02:

That broad reminds me of the annoying USC fan that ran her mouth to the point where I was still just drunk enough to tell her that she was too old and fat to have a nose ring. That ended well.
