Smart move by this agent! Sheesh!

Agent boasts about having dinner with 4 Longhorns on Twitter

Justin Bingman, who represents former Texas lineman Mason Walters, tweeted on four occasions that he had dinners with defensive end Cedric Reed (March 22), defensive tackle Desmond Jackson (March 23), linebackers Steve Edmond and Jordan Hicks (March 24).

“Just had a great dinner with @Ced_Reed88 He and his dad are great guys!” Bingman tweeted on March 22.

“Had dinner with @TexasBoy99tank and his Dad last night. They are both great guys and looking forward to the next time,” he tweeted about Jackson on March 23.

The next day, Bingman tweeted, “Had dinner with @SteveBigMoney33 last night, MLB for Texas. We all had a great time with many stories. #Longhorns”

Bingman’s next tweet read: “Just had dinner with a great young man that is going to do great this year for Texas @JHicks_3 #Longhorns #LonghornsNation”

All four players were underclassmen at the time, and all four returned for their senior seasons. It’s unclear who paid for the meals, but if the agent paid for the dinners, that’s considered a NCAA violation. All four players would appear to have their eligibility in jeopardy.

Go Gophers!!

I trust that TXAGGIE would not allow this to happen at A&M.

UT has that selfish we can do whatever we want because we're better than you attitude. Contrast that to this:

THE TEXAS A&M STUDENTS THAT BLOCKED WESTBORO BAPTIST CHURCH PROTESTERS WITH A HUMAN WALL

When students heard that Westboro Baptist Church planned on protesting the funeral of a soldier, they formed a human barricade around the funeral service to block them out.

Yep, most agents are smart enough not to tweet about the illegal dinners!

Go Gophers!!

How is it illegal? With whom? By the NCAA? If the ruling by the NLRB will be upheld, these players can be represented by anybody they wish at any time they wish. Anybody can be represented at anytime for any purpose they wish. This is the way it is in this country. Yet, we have those who believe that they can deny this representation. Amazing. How far we have fell from Lexington.

Hmmmmm. Taken to dinner by an agent or raping a woman. Where do we draw the line?

Raping a woman is not a football offense, so obviously a free dinner is much worse.

BS. Schools have guidelines regarding sexual infractions. If they didn't, Iowa would not field a team.
