it looks like the WAC is the one most likely to go bye-bye. Losing San Jose State & Utah State to the Mountain West, and perhaps Texas-San Antonio -- currently in the Southland -- to Conference USA (before UTSA has even spent a day in its new conference, the WAC) could be the final straw.
Probably ended up being a pretty bad move for Boise State to join the Big East in football only, the WAC in all other sports. At least San Diego State (also moving to Big East for football only) landed its other sports in a stable conference (Big West).
