More dead due to our wars. Keep them going, more war!

Florida shooting: ex-US marine suspected of killing four, including a baby

A former US marine has shot and killed four people in Florida, including a woman and her three-month-old baby boy in her arms, before surrendering, acccording to police.

The shooter, alleged by police to be Bryan Riley, 33, a former US marine, also allegedly wounded an 11-year-old girl in a shootout in Lakeland near Tampa in central Florida on Sunday. The girl underwent surgery for seven gunshot injuries.

Riley, who had no connection to the victims, allegedly exchanged fire with police before giving up. He later tried to grab an officer’s gun while being treated in the hospital for his own gunshot wound, before being subdued again, Polk county sheriff Grady Judd told a news conference.

A veteran of the US wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, Riley was working as a bodyguard and a security guard. His girlfriend of four years told investigators he suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder and occasional depression, Judd said.

Correction. It’s not the Taliban holding up the flight. It’s our god damned State Dept.

Unbelievable.

….and in two hours KGF will be making up a different excuse because he always gets it wrong. Wouldn’t you think they would have figured this out before they flew the plane over there. Do we allow planes to just randomly land in our country?

Land...no. Fly into the sides of buildings...I guess so.

Those planes were already inside our country. Try harder. But I do agree with you that there is an element of risk letting random planes take off from Afghanistan and land in your country which is probably why they can’t get clearance in the first place.

We have got to the point now where in order to defend Joe some are willing to give the benefit of the doubt to and trust the Taliban. That is the second designated terrorist group the left has defended in 2021 alone. Good job!

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yet the Righties say Trump was doing a great job negotiating with the Taliban. You can't make it up.

The Taliban are the government of Afghanistan. If you think bombing them or something else violent will actually help "protect" the Americans still there let's hear it.

They're the government because we allowed them to be.

Yeah, that negotiation was - this is what we are going to do. As long as you let us, we won’t destroy you. See if you can spot the difference. See if you can pick out where that would have helped us recently.

So we could have destroyed them this whole time and chose not to? Brilliant!

And how could not vote for a man who's such a brilliant negotiator?

There is nothing more impotent than threatening to destroy terrorists and then just sit back and doing nothing while they regroup for a year and a half. Disgusting.

GOP Rep. McCaul says 6 planes with Americans onboard are stuck at Afghanistan airport in 'hostage situation' with Taliban

KGF already posted this 2 days ago. Then he came back and said the real reason was because the state department wasn’t helping get permission for the planes to land in any of the surrounding countries. Other stories say those planes are full of scary afghans trying to come to this country. So 🤷‍♂️

Try and find a source newer than 2 days old sometimes.

White supremacist praise of the Taliban takeover concerns US officials

Far-right extremist communities have been invigorated by the events in Afghanistan, "whether by their desire to emulate the Taliban or increasingly violent rhetoric about 'invasions' by displaced Afghans," according to recent analysis from SITE Intelligence Group, an American non-governmental organization that tracks online activity of White supremacist and jihadist organizations. Some people are commending the Taliban's takeover as "a lesson in love for the homeland, for freedom, and for religion," SITE said in its weekly bulletin on far-right extremists.

Several concerning trends have emerged in recent weeks on online platforms commonly used by anti-government, White supremacist and other domestic violent extremist groups, including "framing the activities of the Taliban as a success," and a model for those who believe in the need for a civil war in the US, the head of the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Intelligence and Analysis, John Cohen, said on a call Friday with local and state law enforcement, obtained by CNN.

when in reality it will lead any nation and even the world down the road of destruction.
OOOOooooooo scary!

Are you going to be standing on top of your speaker with microphone in hand, screaming at people walking to the Vikings game, again this year?

You would know. I also hear he looked at them "very powerfully" and they were terrified.
They were probably whispering to each other "this is the guy who genuinely asked about injecting disinfectant into human lungs, right??"

I would imagine most Afghans preferred us over the Taliban, but who knows. We should at least have control of the weapons we left there.
Yet with a well armed military they lasted 2 weeks?

Seems like more of them were fine with the Taliban.
🤷🏼‍♂️

Hopefully we sanction them so that Afghanistan will definitely keep producing massive amounts of opium and Heroin.

Stop using the terms “stranded” or “hostage”, even though people that were left behind have no way to leave unless the US government gives the Taliban what they want…oh, also don’t use the word “ransom” either. This is just a “situation”.
