Advice Needed

I am an out of town alum looking to buy tickets for an upcoming game. I have never been to the stadium and want to know if there are any seats "too close" to the field. I am looking at buying some tickets in row 6 somewhere between the 20's. In many stadiums the first 1 to 10 rows are actually obstructed by the players or other sideline garbage.

So, can anyone tell me the skinny on the first, say 10 rows of seating ?

I have season tickets in the 5th row at about the 40 yard line. I can see just fine there. My two tickets are for sale for the South Dakota game and Northern Illinois game. However I gave a guy until this Sunday to decide if he wants to buy them.
