Sorry if this is already posted somewhere. It's from the morning but some additional info to what I've read on the board today.

"MAURICE WALKER UPDATE

Amid reports that Maurice Walker has committed to Minnesota, his father says nothing is set.

“No decision yet,” Craig Walker wrote Monday night in a text.

Pittsburgh coach Jamie Dixon called Brewster Academy coach Jason Smith Monday night to say he was still interested.

“Jamie Dixon called me last night,” Smith said. “They’re still recruiting him.”

The 6-10 Walker previously told me Minnesota and Pitt were his favorites, but it was unclear if Pitt had a scholarship for him.

Smith said other schools were also still calling on Walker.

“Virginia wants him to visit. Indiana has been in contact. Kentucky even called. I don’t know if anything’s set up yet,” Smith said."

Dad not sold on MN yet? Wants the announcement to be a bigger deal? Thoughts?

Canadian center Maurice Walker is expected to sign with the University of Minnesota on Wednesday, the first day of the late signing period.

"Coach Tubby Smith asked me to wait until Wednesday to make everything official," Walker said in a text message today. "So, out of respect, I'm waiting till tomorrow to make everything official."

Doubtful. Just waiting untill Wednesday to make it official. Cory wasn't the only reason he was considering us.

I seriously doubt Cory has told anyone yet. He seems to be able to run a tight ship as far as "leaks" go.

All this hand wringing, media squabbling, and tweet parsing is getting a bit silly.

We will know when Mo and Cory tell us, IMHO

As a huge jeopardy nut/nerd, I feel like I am obligated to correct you. It is either ""Reporters fishing for a story where there isn't one" for $500 Alex" or "What is "reporters fishing for a story where there isn't one" but it can't be both.

So which one is it?
