Good luck enforcing those cut block rules. It seemed to me that even Carollo contradicted himself in the explanation.

Can somebody explain the "you can always cut block if you are going north, south or away from the action to the sidelines comment"? I have no clue what that means.

You can cut if you are blocking someone directly in front of you--that's what the north/south means. A lineman can go up and cut the linebacker of d-lineman in front of them. You can also block out from the tackle box. For instance, a lineman can go out and cut a cornerback or an outside linebacker. But a receiver can not come in and cut someone, such as a linebacker. Pretty much the only time a receiver can cut is if they are engaged with a corner.
