Before this morning, I'd never heard of Adam Kelly. I emailed him to voice my displeasure in his tactics.

His first response was that he just told the truth.

Then a few minutes ago, he sent out...

FYI,

If it makes you feel better and it makes me feel better, It looks like the U has hired Chris Peterson.

I am guessing they followed proper protocol which is the right way to do it.

I'm guessing this guy doesn't know more than any of us, but... Even a blind squirell finds a nut once in a while.

IF this Adam Kelly character some how found out.
 



He doesn't know anything. These guys are upset because they aren't plugged into the process and they would be the last ones to know. He read about it (probably on here) and wants to act like he is in the know.
 


I am skeptical as well. Anything with him on it right now does not feel right.

Key words in that email are "looks like." Not I've been told, "looks like" is a pretty loose term.

Yes, my best friend who is good friends with a guy who used to date his sisters ex roomate and now a server at Vescios in dinky town over heard Joel tell kelly it is Peterson. My other friend though was there too but he said Joel really said it was a peterbuilt truck that hauls the Gopher football team equipment. Actually this could all be crap because the Gopher equipment is being hauled by an International. Geez this is so weird.

No, dude, totally believe you. Would like to share it on Twitter, is all. I'd scrape all personal info off. I'm trying to embrace the most absurd parts of this search and this is right up there.

Yeah, I think he's just re-speculating what others have speculated. I can't imagine why he'd KNOW something that none of the more connected people on this board know.

Again, Don't get me wrong. I am not saying he's credible.

I have no idea why he even emailed me this.

Interesting stuff nonetheless.
 

But if it is not Petersen....

what a let down we will have. Even if it is a pipe dream, I think that all Gopher fans want a signature hire to help us bring our program to a high level. If they bring in Jerry Kill after thinking we were getting Petersen.......ugh.

You're absolutely right. Since it seems all along like it's this guy's goal to make Maturi look really bad, I think this Petersen scoop could be a fabrication.

Hope I'm wrong.
 





Which institution was he referring to? Our U, or the other football team with a U on their helmets?

If we all get our hopes up for Petersen but he signs with the Fla U, then we've all just been shat on.
