Sounds like some administrative turds at the ACC/AAC (former Big East) might be crying over spilled milk and trying to take their ball and go home when it comes to working with BTN on Rutgers Day and Maryland Day. Just give BTN the rights to their games they want to broadcast on the network during the school'ss inaguration days already and stop being pricks about it. Seems pretty petty and stupid on the ACC and AAC's part.....assuming that is what is going on here. Lame.

They own the tape of those games, why would any entity not leverage its assets for its benefit? Seems pretty standard to me, business is business.

What Rutgers and Maryland players from the past will now be 'Big Ten Icons?'

They did it for Nebraska (awful) and older PSU (also awful). If they didn't play in the Big Ten, then they shouldn't be Big Ten Icons. Period.

That's what I was getting at.

Another case of common sense being thrown away.

They can have those two schools back as far as I'm concerned.

Darn. Rutgers and Maryland day on the BTN was all I had to look forward to after the Wild got knocked out of the playoffs. I agree with Bigelow, the ACC and AAC can have them back.
