This is the guy I fear most for Wisconsin. His name should be Houdini. I have never seen a wide receiver with the knack to get so wide open. It seems every game I tune in, there is a deep drop by the Becky quarterback, and somehow, some way, Abbrederis is wide open. Not a soul to be found anywhere near him. How does he do that? Must be magic. Here's hoping the Gopher defensive backs spoil the trick.

Agreed. Can't be just the play design, because he gets open deep so often on essentially one-man patterns. Deceptively fast.

He was a two time high school state champion and state record holder in the 110m high hurdles and also won a state title in the 300m hurdles. First team all state quarterback as a senior, won a state title in football. Played both QB and DB and was pretty dominant. He's incredibly smart in the classroom as well and very involved in community service projects. One of those kids that just has it all together both on and off the field. So he is incredibly smart, plays the position seeing the field like a QB would, and is athletically gifted.

He went to Wisconsin as a walk-on and eventually earned a scholarship.

Agree, runs great routes and is sneaky fast. Type of kid who is faster when someone is chasing him.
