Morgan State is playing pretty good ball for Todd Bozeman early this season. The defending MEAC champs (and favorites to repeat) defeated Arkansas at Bud Walton Arena Tuesday night, 97-94, their first game after fighting gamely against Louisville at Freedom Hall falling 90-81. These road warriors (only 3 of their 16 non-conference games are at home) are lead by Reggie Holmes who's averaging nearly 24 points per outing and PF Kevin Thompson who averages around a double-double. This will likely be the best team (with Holmes the best player) to step into Williams Arena before Big 10 play begins, especially since St. Joe's recently was thumped by Purdue and also has lost to DePaul.
