I've said it for three straight games now and in two weeks it will be upon us again...yet another most important game in a long time. But this one will be with a difference. This time it will also be the most important game for Kill and his coaching group EVER!

Like a pro golfer wins in the NCAA, then the Sunshine tour, the Nike Tour and then on the PGA tour. It's that key victory in the big time, PGA TOUR, that is the most important. Same when a coaching staff gets to a BCS school. The game against Wisconsin will be the most big time game they have ever faced and the most important.

What can we expect? To answer that, what do we know? We know that the Gophers have become a very solid BCS football team.

We have a good defense. One that can shut down a potent opponent's offense for a time. We saw it against Northwestern's and Indiana's passing and Nebraska's rushing. The question is how will they do against Wisconsin's much more potent rushing game than we have faced before? What wrinkles will they introduce to stop a huge and potent offensive line and a set of very good running backs?

We have a good offense. We've seen it mature and expand each of the last three weeks. Nelson has become a surprisingly good (in my opinion) quarterback. He has gone from running and contributing to a pretty good rushing attack with some adequate passing thrown in to keep the defense honest and has become an very good passer who can carry the offense with his arm as he'd did in the first half today.

The coaching staff has expanded the offense as the team has demonstrated the ability to deal with it. We now have two weeks to get ready for the offense to attack Wisconsin. What wrinkles will they introduce to keep Wisconsin's offense off the field?

While Wisconsin is preparing to play Indiana, we will be resting and getting healthy and preparing to play them. We've got an advantage beyond the idle week. Wisconsin and it's potent running game has been beaten. The new Minnesota that has emerged since Michigan has not. Last week we were a running juggernaut. The first half today, we were a skilled passing team led by a decisive, accurate and smart QB.

Country Jer, I'm dying to see what you bring us in two weeks. I'm excited and I believe!
