Theres a lot of Gopher confidence about the game this saturday. What will this board be like if the Badgers win???

If the Gophers win, we will be happy. If the Badgers win, we'll be unhappy.

Hope that helps.

One thing I have noticed about the Badger board is overall they are about as uneasy about this as we are. But, one curious thing I see is they are posting team stats and comparing them as if it means something. I do think it means something when two teams that have had similar or the same opponents match up. But, early conference games usually have very skewed statistics leading in to them, especially when one team has been playing Wofford and the other has been playing Cal. It seems so obvious to me but perhaps someone can help me remember if Gopher fans used to point out gaudy statistics as a sign of Big 10 victories after playing directional Louisiana schools or Toledo. I'm not being sarcastic... I just don't remember.

Regardless of the outcome, the Badgers will still suck and Bucky will still look like a skunk trapped in a popcorn box. Hope this helps.

But Schnauzer, Sam Bradford is the next Tom Brady. After all he lit up the Michigan State Spartans secondary...the same secondary that has allowed an average of 313.6 yards per game and 18 TD's in their last 5 games against FBS opponents.

It kind of makes Tolzien's numbers look a little less impressive, doesn't it?

Yeah, that Cal team was REALLY a top 10 team! Are you trying to say that Syracuse and Air Force were real world beaters?!?

Pretty sure he is saying is that they are better than Wofford.

Of course there is a lot of Confidence we have good team

Why wouldn't we feel good about our chances Saturday. We are playing at home,
and we have an improved football team from last year. After watching four games
I would even say the Gophers are a good football team that is just starting to find there strideand will compete well with everyteam we play this season. We are not overconfident we just know we have a "Good" Big10 ready football team that can beat anyone we play. Have not
thought that since the Barber Maroney day's.

I've thought the Badgers were one of the 3 worst teams in the Big Ten since July and I still think that. You're about to be exposed as the frauds you are. The good news is beating up on Wofford should be enough to get you to the Little Caesar's Bowl.

We'll still be the gophers and the badgers will still suck. There is nothing that can ever change that.

Minnesota's opponents so far this year: a combined 10 - 6
wisconsin's opponents so far this year: a combined 5 - 11

Make what you will of it.

Living in the heart of darkness (Wisconsin), I've noticed surprisingly little trash talk, and no friendly-type wager making to speak of. They are clearly uneasy about playing us, and have no idea what to expect at 'The Bank'. They must know their good fortune is finally running out.

I think most of the confidence you are seeing is confidence in the fact Badger fans are some of the dumbest, cockiest, know-nothing morons in the country.

As for the game itself, I don't think anybody knows quite what to expect because the badgers haven't played anybody. I think there is some well-grounded confidence that Wisconsin is a program in decline under Bielema. But how that translates into what happens on Saturday is anyone's guess. I think it will be a close game.
