A loss in the band family

Some of you may have seen the news via the photo the Marching Band facebook posted, but after a long battle with breast cancer Toni Diem, Dr. Diem's wife, passed away Wednesday night. This past year for him has been very rough, and regardless of the opinion of him you have I ask that send your condolences and nice thought/prayers toward him and his family. #TeamDiem

If ever there was a game to catch the pregame show... I know there are a lot of great fans of the band on this board. It would be a huge sign of support if we had a big crowd cheering on the band and the Diem family during pregame.

My condolences on his loss to Dr Diem and his family. Life ends up being way to short some times, and like the Billy Joel song says
even the good die young.
