A guy over on GI asked/thought if the Gophers got into the Championship game they would go back on the bubble.
"So your telling me there is a chance"...Loyd Christmas.:cheer:

well seing how they're next loss will be the 13th in the B1G, they need to win it to go dancing, heck they probably need to win tomorrow to lock up an NIT bid

If we make it to the title game we will have won on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday against some very good teams. It would put us at nine wins and I'd imagine we would have to be in the title game. Also, the B10 championship game is finished an hour or two before the brackets are released so I would imagine if we are even in the game after the first half we would have to be in.

Nope, we gotta win it to get in, no way you can justify a team that was 6-12 in regular season conference play making the tournament, I don't care how great their last few wins would be. We're gonna have to channel our inner UConn and just run the table.

Exactly, no other way.

Conference records have no bearing on the committee. For the most part, all they care about is who you have played and who you have beat. South Florida finished 12-6 in the Big East and is the 6 seed in the Big East Tournament while Seton Hall finished 8-10 and is the 10 seed in the Big East Tournament. Jerry Palm has South Florida in as a 12 seed and one of the last four in while Seton Hall is in more comfortably as an 11 seed.
