A few things I don't understand

We certainly have a couple of losers on our boards, but most that come here to flame I have never seen on our boards and when they talk over the line crap they usually get slapped down, but over here the pre-game woofing is beyond belief and attacks on your own team after a loss is amazing. Do you realize that your potential recruits read your boards and you make it harder for your coach to bring in the players you say you need? As far as obnoxious fans, (Wis. or other) where is your stadium security? We used to have a bigger problem than now, but presently security is really beefed up at Camp Randall and they have gotten rid of the older security people and I know first hand that people are getting tossed and arrested with little tolerance. This was brought about by our UW Pres. who openly stated that enough was enough. I thought it was an amazing game with tremendous individual efforts and the results could have gone either way. I think a few more positive vibes for your team would stand you in good stead with recruits and the way the players feel about themselves. They can't be happy to read this stuff and play in front of empty seats. That being said, I hope you win the rest of your games and I look forward to seeing you at Camp Randall.

I don't like agreeing with badgers. Someone else needs to.

Obnoxious fans? Please elaborate.

My seats are right in front of the visting team's section in Section 217, and the two games I have attended-Air Force and Wisconsin-the visiting fans have been much more obnoxious than any of ours, but not to the point of needing to be kicked out. The Air Force fans were especially annoying, surprisingly. I have seen security come and warn a few people-Gophers and visitors alike-but I have not seen anybody kicked out.

Obviously this is one person's view from one section and two games, but I have not seen anything to say that increased security is needed.

By obnoxious fans, I was simply referencing comments by some of your posters describing some of their terrible experiences with Wisconsin fans. A jerk is a jerk. I love college ball and am an avid Badger Fan, but my penis doesn't grow longer nor by paycheck get bigger if they win. My only point is that, if some Wis. fans are as bad your posters are stating than boot em. No one should have to pay and set through another fan's behavior that ruins the game experience. If it is not being done start complaining to your A.D. and president. As a season ticket holder I did and there must have been others because things have radically changed at the Camp. If I have get the opportunity to visit your new stadium I want to have a positive experience whether we win or lose. I'm done, have a great year!

Thanks for clarifying. Don't get defensive-I was not questioning your judgement, just wanted clarification. I have no problem with the back-and-forth trash talk between fans, it is only when some fans start picking fights or telling other teams fans to f - off that I think something needs to be done.
