Go Gophers!!

Looks like our injury luck from last season has worn off.

It sounds like Ben Lauer is a question mark for the opener as well.

Given the situation some of our opponents are already running into (OSU losing its star senior quarterback before the season starts for the whole year, NU losing two key offensive contributors), I still count us lucky if the most banged up we are coming back is the possibility that a few players might not be 100% for the opener against whatever lower-division chumps we are playing.

Agreed. We've lost a back up tight end and third string lineman for the year....anyone else out for a significant amount of time? Most of the others just have some 'minor' injuries. Lauer's high ankle sprain is concerning. I know you can't count any games as gimmies but I wouldn't mind resting Lauer if need be to let him heal and hopefully avoid a season long nagging injury.

Yep, bumps and bruises come with the territory. It is those season enders that kill you.

I think I read Pirsig was back and practicing.
