A different side to the Isiah Thomas firing from Ric Bucher

It is great that Isaiah was helping his athletes succeed in school, he should be very proud of those numbers. However, this is only one facet of his job. Thomas was not winning basketball games and as a result was unable to promote his university (the other two facets of his job). Maybe Isaiah Thomas would be better suited as a tutor for the athletic department at FIU.

with him being immediately escorted off of campus by the cops I don't think they would have him as a tutor either. It could be that his previous management practices followed him to this job and they are just using the basketball record as the excuse to fire him.
