The evolution of the vax narrative:

-Take it and you are safe from this virus and you won't pass it
-Take it and the booster and you are safe from this virus and you won't pass it.
-Take this and the booster and you probably won't get as sick as the unvaxxed morons who are spreading it
- Take this and the booster and wear your mask and you probably won't get as sick and you can spread it, but we will still blame the unvaxxed ;)
- The vax will not protect you against Omicron, so mask up, but we need 100% vaxxing to stop Omicron
-The unvaxxed will have a winter of death

These out-of-context snippets are unconvincing. This was occurring when Don Trump was applying pressure in order to attempt to rush vaccine approval for political purposes. Opposition was right to say not until approved with zero pressure from the Jackass In Chief. As usual, Don jizzed in his own face. If he had given honest updates and full support of the experts and process, what could have opponents said then?
Applied pressure for political purposes? That’s what you’ve got? Let me guess- the current Biden mandates aren’t political, they are being done with the best of intentions for the people who won’t comply.

This is interesting. Not that I trust the WHO or that they have the interest of the US in mind, but it claims that boosters will only prolong the Covid pandemic…

Yep. The longer places like Africa have little to no access to the vaccine, the longer we'll continue to be in this.

“Africa right now is essentially a superincubator,” said Andrea Taylor, assistant director of programs at the Duke Global Health Innovation Center, a leading authority on global vaccine supply.

And the emergence of a new variant “is exactly what experts have been warning about for months," she said. "We saw what happened with India, which gave rise to the delta variant. And we said, 'Look, this is going to happen in Africa where there is uncontrolled transmission.'” […]

“While we still need to know more about omicron, we do know that as long as large portions of the world’s population are unvaccinated, variants will continue to appear, and the pandemic will continue to be prolonged,” Dr. Seth Berkley, CEO of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, a leading partner in the global vaccine sharing program COVAX, said in an email.

Actually, this points out the folly of the push for 100% vaccination. Places like Africa will never, ever near full vax status, leaving Covid, a man made virus, to continue to circle the earth. This is the idiocy we now see in Australia and New Zealand where they have stolen freedom for two years with the insane goal of zero Covid. The thirst for power....

No one is pushing for 100%.

Or we just stop testing asymptomatic people and poof there goes 40% of the cases.
As usual, you haven't been paying attention to what is truly important. No one gives a shit about asymptomatic cases anymore. The stats that really matter are covid hospitalizations, deaths, and vaccinations. Just a few of us in GH have understood this from the very beginning.

Yet you made a post earlier today condemning Florida for case count 🤷‍♂️

Your entire posting history makes this post laughable, and all of the disinformation you continue to post shows that your understanding of Coivd is near zero.

Let me guess, you're still like the many Democrats who think 50% of people are hospitalized if they become infected with Covid, when that number is actually less than 1%, regardless of vaccination status.

The great news is that 99.97% of America is waking up not hospitalized or dying with Covid this morning.

Merry Christmas Broke!

I've also seen references to our current flu shots, it is believed to be the consequences of the Spanish Flu 100 years later, this could very easily be the future of Covid, a new vaccination for the next 100+ years.

To ignore the length of time that other vaccines took to develop is comparing time tested vaccines to quickly developed ones. All of the listed required vaccines took years or decades to develop, test, observe, and approve. That’s not to say that Covid vaccines won’t reach that level of tested status, especially considering the widespread use, but years of post-vaccination may yield more knowledge about a vaccine.

Below is an article that list significant vaccines and a brief history behind them:

It may or may not have been a lie when they were saying that the vax made you safe from infection and transmission. Now, to attempt to mandate or bully the usage of this vax across the board without consideration for risk profile or prior infection is indeed a lie based on the assumption that people are misinformed and fearful enough to blindly follow.

This is because Trump is also part of the problem. He is not immune from the power grab and he realized he must say that, while also saying that it is up to the individual.

The basic issue is not about the effectiveness of the vaccine. It has never been that. It is about the ability to decide if the vaccine is something you choose or not.

Trump is to vaccines as Bush was to the Patriot Act. These are ostensibly good developments, used properly and constitutionally that appear to be very beneficial and make sense. It made sense after 9-11 that we would want to catch foreign terrorists and surveil them. It made sense that Trump would want to rush approval and incentivize manufacture.

The problem comes after. What if someone abuses it? I got duped by the Patriot Act- having trusted government with this security piece- they broke that trust.

With the vaccine the problem is that there is no product liability. So sell it as if it offers durable immunity, prevents spread, and is completely safe. When it is none of the above- push boosters. Then there is the potential to mandate a product with unknown risks. That sells more of it.

With the Patriot Act- what we found in 2017 is that the FISA courts are the wild west and the intel agencies have given contractors access to our data. The courts don't stop any of the abuses and when everyone gets caught- they apologize and continue on with no accountability.
