Who claimed that "everyone would"? We found it immensely disturbing that a man astoundingly stupid enough to suggest drinking bleach was President of the United States. Not that "everyone" would be stupid enough to take his advice.

Actually, he never suggested that anyone do anything of the sort. It was a media lie that suckers like you bit on.
I believe the phrase you're looking for is: "Know your audience". Despite the freefall ratings, CNN/WaPo/NY Times are still very aware of who their target audience is.

State Farm stands by Aaron Rodgers;

"We respect his right"

Good for them to at least respect his right. You don't have to agree with everything he did or said, lied, whatever to at least respect his rights here.

Gavin Newsom being MIA for the past 12 days certainly isn't good optics for the mandate vaccines for everyone 5+ crowd. He hasn't been seen publicly, and cancelled all of his public events after receiving the booster shot on October 27. This includes cancelling his trip to Glasgow for the climate convention, a trip that had been planned a year in advance. His ex-partner said it's because of family obligations and because he has kids. Twitter speculation has included Guillain-Barre' Syndrome and Bell's palsy.

There has been some reports (unconfirmed) that he attended a fantasy wedding at SF City Hall on Saturday, officiated by Nancy Pelosi. If true, he cancelled a trip to the Global Climate Conference in Glasgow, to go to the fantasy wedding of an Oil Barron's daughter, at SF City Hall, a few hundred yards from a massive homeless encampment.

Strange situation, either way. But it is California.

It's not illiterate knuckle draggers that's for sure.

I would read the times and wapo but they are paywalled.

Yup. I'm just about in this camp myself. The only, the ONLY upside to me getting that stupid jab in the arm was being able to get into the Raiders games at Allegiant.

Thousands, millions getting the vaccine and yet masks still mandated pretty much everywhere in Nevada. The only upside is it's about the least enforced "mandate" I've ever seen but why the mindless charade? It's never been about health and safety; merely power and control. At least come out and admit that.

So oppressed.
I can do everything I did before Covid, not sure which freedoms he is talking about?
He has to mask up in the same places as the unvaxxed, he has to take repeated booster shots to maintain his "freedoms". He still has to deal with all of the effects that the silly vax mandates, mask mandates and lockdowns have had on the supply chain. Essentially, a healthy person gets nothing for the risk they took.

Lockdowns have been over for a long time.

Isn't this awesome??? Biden administration will rely on whistleblowers to call OSHA on their employers. Nothing better for the economy or unity than that! The Nazis would be proud. Maybe kids will turn in their parents in the next stage.

Whistleblowers to play key role in enforcing vaccine mandate

WASHINGTON (AP) — To enforce President Joe Biden’s forthcoming COVID-19 mandate, the U.S. Labor Department is going to need a lot of help. Its Occupational Safety and Health Administration doesn’t have nearly enough workplace safety inspectors to do the job.
© Provided by Associated Press FILE - In this Oct. 21, 2020, file photo, an Exam Corp Lab employee, right, wears a mask as she talks with a patient lined up for COVID-19 testing in Niles, Ill. Millions of U.S. workers now have a Jan. 4 deadline to get a COVID vaccine. The federal government on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021 announced new vaccine requirements for workers at companies with more than 100 employees as well as workers at health care facilities that treat Medicare and Medicaid patients. (AP Photo/Nam Y. Huh, File)
So the government will rely upon a corps of informers to identify violations of the order: Employees who will presumably be concerned enough to turn in their own employers if their co-workers go unvaccinated or fail to undergo weekly tests to show they’re virus-free.

What's not known is just how many employees will be willing to accept some risk to themselves — or their job security — for blowing the whistle on their own employers. Without them, though, experts say the government would find it harder to achieve its goal of requiring tens of millions of workers at companies with 100 or more employees to be fully vaccinated by Jan. 4 or be tested weekly and wear a mask on the job.

Yes. But facts don't matter anymore. Upset about the high price of gas? It's Biden's fault! And lock downs.
First off, nothing is Biden's fault. He isn't making any decisions, he has no clue where he is on a given day. That said, absolutely his administration is at fault for gas prices. How could you possibly argue differently. Lockdowns are over but the Covid policies, mandates and silly overpayment of unemployment effectively continued the lockdown effects, ruining supply chains and running inflation wild. The big losers? The low end of the wage earners suffer the most.

You believe the President controls the price of gas? How exactly? And don't give me delaying one pipeline that wasn't even in service yet.

Controls? No. Influences directionally? Absolutely. Biden himself control nothing, apparently not even the sphincter muscle during foreign meetings.

The administration shut down the keystone and have reduced drilling and exploration at the same time they have help get Russian oil pipeline through and helped Iran as well with their oil interests. They have done everything in their power to facilitate higher oil and gas prices in a time where they have caused huge inflation in nearly every commodity. It's a horrible administration and the American public agrees. They get failing marks on nearly every major policy area despite a press that defends them 24-7.

Didn't Hitler and his group call this the Brown Shirts back in the day? Getting kids and neighbors to rat out their parents and neighbors for not stepping in line?

But it's crazy paranoid to think it could ever happen here....

There is 100% literally no alternate explanation other than to assume the grand plan is to absolutely F"K things up so possibly bad and so fast that anything, like ANYTHING that happens in early-mid 2022 could be heralded as some incredible leadership and movement in a "positive direction".

I just don't see how else this plan can play out at this point

They also "caused" inflation eh? Even though inflation is up world wide? Biden is so powerful...

America is a pretty solid percentage of the world economy (20-25%). Most of the "leadership" on Covid came out of the US and the WHO - a totally crooked organization that has become a tool of the Chinese. Yes indeed, were it not for Fauci and a host of other crooks (who helped concoct the virus) from the US the global economy would be in far, far better shape.

Biden is nothing. He has nothing to do with how the country is run.

Still now following how the Biden Admin "caused" inflation? Perhaps it was the massive Trump stimulus payments? Or were those totally fine and only the Biden ones were bad?

In October, 25 out of every 100,000 residents of heavily Trump counties(more than 60% of vote) died from Covid, more than three times higher than the rate in heavily Biden counties (7.8 per 100,000). October was the fifth consecutive month that the percentage gap between the death rates in Trump counties and Biden counties widened.
