We kick off and man it can't come soon enough.

All I will say in lieu of a long rambling rant is that this season is crucial in so many ways for our program and we will learn a lot about our squad. I think it is the start of "Phase 2" in the plan to turn this ship around and we will really start to see Kill's imprint on the team as well as finally see payoffs on the field for what we've done over the past 3 years.

This season has the potential to be a helluva ride and a lot of fun to be a part of, will this end up being "The Year"?

Are we as a program up to the challenge? And that goes for all of us, we all play a part in making it happen.

I'm already planning the tailgate with my buddy back in the Cities. Everyone should burn a vacation day and make a whole day of it to start this season the right way.
 

Was just thinking I'll be on the interstate driving up in exactly 8 weeks. First home opener since I was in school. Can't wait.

Enjoy the game. I will be at a HS volleyball match - trying to do play-by-play while checking the game-tracker on my tablet every couple of minutes.
 





I'm ready for Gopher football! Crap weather so let's get there. The way I look at it we have only one month left before the season begins. Fuzzy math but I figure it's July and our first game is in August. That's one month!

Absolutely. We'll probably be down by the river. Lawn games, grain belt, jalapeno cheddarwurst, and Budweiser Chelada. I'll be the one in the striped overalls that look like they've been through a lot.
