Asheville got homered right out of the gym...I'm not usually one to complain about the refs, but that was frickin awful by the guys in stripes.
 


6th man for Syracuse?

And add in 7th and 8th. Tough for anyone to win 5 on 8. Disgusting display by so called NCAA top notch referees.
 

I'm pretty confident that I just watched a game that was fixed. There is little doubt that the refs were not going to allow UNC-Asheville to have a chance to win the game. What a shame. Hope someone investigates this one.
 



Jim Boeheim will rot in hell for his press conference after the game.
 

I was trying to track down Boeheim's press conference...what did he say that was so offensive?
 




Went on and about how the officiating was fine, no luck was involved, better team won, and then spun on a dime to complain about how unfair it is that the NCAA has academic standards.
 

Dion Waiter's (Syracuse player) twitter after the game: "Hard fought win.. Glad we got that out the way... The whole arena was against us to, all year we face adversity. H&H (Humble & Hungry)."
 

Typical arrogance from Boeheim. Not really surprised as he's always been one of those coaches who is referred to, rather politely may I add, as "operating in the gray area."

He is such an arrogant jerk to the media. If any of these allegations in his program turn out to be true, they will bury him. It couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

I'm not one to complain about the refs either. But...wow.
I hate starting out the tournament hating the officiating. This officiating team is on notice for elimination.
 





Such a bummer. It was hard to see those kids not pull it out. I feel bad for their shooter who was 1-12 or something. He's gonna think about that game for a long time.

Might have something to do with his coach being such an ass.
 

The East region is filled with coaches I can't stand. Boeheim, Cryin' Bo, Whinin' Thad Matta, NBA Factory Rick Barnes, Bob Thuggins, the team formerly coached by Bob Thuggins and even Frank Martin (also a team formerly coached by Bob Thuggins). Hopefully Kevin Stallings or Mark Few can prove nice guys can win.
