Fair at best for the game, but down the stretch they came up strong. This is going to be a game breaker or maker in many games IMO. The bigs need to step up and get strong at the line when conference play begins to keep other teams from fouling at will.

yeah free throws will definitely be a factor this year, but when you are playing three bigs, you are going to have a lower percentage overall. Once Devoe comes back the percentage should increase a bit.

Very concerning, but down the stretch under 5 minutes did look good, I think it was Nolan 1 out of 2, Williams 2 out of 2, Iverson 2 out of 2, Hoff 2 out of 2, take this 7 out of 8 out of the equation, and free throws otherwise for the rest of the game are real bad-8 out of 18.

I think it was Nolan 1 out of 2...

Al is always 1 out of 2 or so it seems. If he can get his percentage up to 75% he will win us some big games this year.

I was concerned their free throw shooting was going to cost them the game, but they did get some big ones toward the end.

When you hit 8 of 10 to close out a close game against a tough team, then your FT shooting really is not that bad.

I think some of the early-game struggles tonight were a result of being too geeked.
