I sort of have the hunch that Jerry Kill is now going to mutate into something even more unstoppable. In fact, he's probably actively evolving into a higher coaching life-form even as I write this. The dark powers that have haunted Gopher football for 40 years tried to preemptively take him out before he gained too much strength. But they failed, and not only is he now going to be stronger--but now they've gone and pissed him off. Bad move, football gods. You messed with a guy named Jerry.

The sad news is that's about what it is going to take to turn this ship around. We need divine intervention.

Jerry Kill craps on seizures. I'm pumped to see him back out there soon.

Jerry! Jerry! Jerry! We believe in you, he's going to turn this ship around and were going to be proud. Right now he's got some crap on it that he needs to unload and we'll appreciate everything he's done.

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Sports Show coming up in five minutes. Now that it appears as though Coach Kill is going to be OK, I wonder if Dark Star or Reusse will be able to resist the urge to make a "that team plays so poorly that they induce seizures" joke. Reusse started heading in that direction with a Tweet earlier today.
