43,000 tickets sold for tonight's game

Just got off the phone with my Gophers ticket rep and he said they are down to about 8,000 tickets left for tonight, and have sold about 4,000 in the last week.

There should be a strong walk today and many students will want to pick up a last minute ticket, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the final attendance settle around 45,000.

Honestly not bad for a game vs lowly Oregon State to kick off a year where season ticket sales dropped by over 20%.

Feels like since they move orientation to the first week of school and give away free tickets to Freshman, the student section is always rocking the first game.

For student tix, I know the student fb page that sells them is flowing pretty steady with people looking for tickets, but you still can purchase them online. Demand is pretty good though.
