Agreed. Everyone relax. Go ahead and freak out when a coach is announced or when someone with verifiable sources reports something.
 

What we know:

Teague was the greatest AD in the world when he fired Tubby a week ago.

Now he's the biggest buffoon on the planet because he hasn't hired anyone yet, nor has he shared information with us/the media.

Conclusion? Honeymoons don't last long.

Wake me up when the new coach is hired.
 

There are many things we don't know about the next hire, except we do know it won't be Tubby. That alone should comfort the horde of people caught up in the angst of Tubby's replacement.

I like the writeup though I think Teague's honeymoon ended around the time he agreed to pay $800K to run from North Carolina. At this point he needs this hire to go really well so I have no problem with him taking some time to get it right.
 


Since Shawn Zobel has blocked me on Twitter...can someone ask him what his sources are saying since they are usually spot on about stuff like this? Thanks guys
 

Hey, I trust Norwood to make a good hire. I'm convinced he's got the knack to evaluate coaching talent and a file that rivals J. Edgar Hoover's. That said, I will always feel that it could have been as simple as hiring Flip without any of the rumored strings attached with assistant coaches. That approach would have been brilliant in its simplicity - sort of like when Indiana Jones shot the guy with all the swords.
 


I got blocked by Shawn Zobel as well.
 



I'd be very skeptical of the OP.
