Our record in trophy games with Kill / Claeys has to be God-awful.
One win over Michigan during their weakest years.
Zero wins over Wisconsin (who by the way isn't exactly a power house anymore)
Beat Iowa once every 5 years or so and we think that's good.

Kill Era ends with 15 wins out of 40 Big Ten games.
Of those 15 wins, 6 came against Purdue and Illinois.
That's 9 wins over 5 years over teams like Indiana, Northwestern, Iowa, Nebraska, Penn St, Michigan St, Wisconsin, etc.
Whatever we do, we need to keep beating Illinois and Purdue, Boys!!!

Exact same run Wisconsin went on last year after we went up 17-3.

I'm not asking for the Gophers to beat WI every year.
I'm not asking them to even win half the games.
Just win a freaking game against WI once every 4-5 years. Is that too much to ask?
Yeh, and beating Purdue and Indiana and Illinois most of the time is nice, but for crying out loud... is this something we should celebrate?
We beat Nebraska and Michigan and they fire their coaches. Then we lose to both again the next year.
It's a damn shame.
Between Gophers getting beat handily EVERY SINGLE YEAR by the badgers and the Vikings losing to Green Bay EVERY SINGLE YEAR, it's getting pretty darn old.
