Have a hard time seeing Estrada crack the lineup of Taylor, Ijeboi, Turner and Washington if they are all back even with an injury or two. Might play in a blowout in non conference and maintain redshirt. Is Ford coming back? Loved Estradas film though.

There may be some playing time at Tight End if Voss is ready. Lost 3 Sr's to graduation..

Do we know how to utilize someone of Stevens speed? Bucko Irving was the last time Minnesota had someone with speed.

Taylor played as a true Frosh, I believe?

His history suggests he wont play the whole season. I do think RB is the easiest position to make an impact as a true freshman.

The chances of all of those guys staying healthy all year is near zero. It happens every year. Ijeboi started the year as the #4 guy and ended with nearly 100 carries.

I think Roman enrolling late(?) + having to learn TE as he was a high school QB points to redshirt

The fact that all of them don’t enroll til the summer makes me think it’ll be a slim chance. If I had to pick one I’d take Stevens.

This doesn't really address the OP, but...

The optimist in me says the biggest improvement for the Gopher offense will come from The Drake, as he gains experience and confidence. As the kids like to say, that young man can spin it. I think he'll continue to get better, and that alone will make the offense better.

I think Howie Johnson has a chance to get meaningful reps. Maybe Blassingame?

Voss will be an interesting one to watch next year. I am sure they would love to get someone with his athleticism on the field but there is going to be a pretty steep learning curve for him going from high school QB to college TE.

All going to come down to how quickly he can adjust to the new position. I would hope he has already been putting in some work as this position switch is not a surprise. But you never know how quick things will click for a player.
