By the way, some guys like JC and Engel would have made the first team had they not missed time due to injury.

Our QB play this year was so inconsistent and we saw so many inexplicably bad throws I think had we Klaphake or even Kern at QB for us this year we win 10 games in the regular season and the bowl game. Heck drop down to Peterson at the D3 level and either him or the St. Thomas kid who got hurt would have likely done a better job for us. I still get twitchy thinking about some of the wide open guys Nelson air mailed this year. Leidner not so much but he was his own worst enemy by putting the ball on the ground so much otherwise I don't think Nelson would have gotten back on the field much. I'm fine going into next season with Leidner as our guy but Jerry will not be amused next year if the kid can't hold onto the ball.

I'd be interested see which Minnesota kids who saw playing time were left off this list. Looks like nearly everyone made the list.

Do you really think there aren't many more than 62 Minnesotans playing college ball at FBS, FCS, Division II, and Division III levels?

I'd take that O-line. It'd be one of the best in the Big Ten.
