I see that there are 11 guys on Rivals that list offers from MN. Do we know how many of those are from Kill? I know Nelson was by Kill and Rallis by Brewster.

Looks like we have coaches working on the following players from Chicago area for 2012. Robbie Bain OL, Mikhail Dubos DE, Vontrell Williams DT.

It also appears that Kill and crew has offered the WR out of hopkins Andre McDonald.

Winona can you post the article from GI about Andre

The Kill Crew has also offered Kenno Loyal (phenomenal name) a 2012 RB recruit out of Georgia.

Highlights
His scout profile lists offers from MN, tOSU, TENN, and Georgia among others.
On the other hand his rivals page shows offers from MN, Kentucky, MISS, and Troy.

Kill has also offered Jonah Pirsig, OT – Blue Earth (MN) a 2012 recruit who is supposedly some kind of man/child mountain

Why are we getting excited about offers? Technically, we could offer the top 25 recruits in the nation. It doesn't mean we'd get any of them.

It is sort of like when you were a kid when the toy catalogs would arrive. You would immediately sit down with it and dream about what Santa might bring you if you were a good boy. All men still are basically little boys hoping for some nice presents in our stockings or under our tree.

We can at least rest assured he would stick to his verbal commitment.

Unlike that corrupt political machine Tammany!

Aprapos to this thread FBT's update includes a pretty good summary of the kids we've offered already for the 2012 class.

It'd be great if we could keep Karmichael Dunbar, Charles Webb, and Nelson, but they seem to be the tougher '12 recruits to keep instate. Personally I'd most prefer to keep Dunbar out of the 3. It'll be interesting to see what happens if he doesn't get an LSU offer.

Yeah, that 2012 class is pretty impressive. Webb, Dunbar, and Nelson do seem like they are going to be difficult "gets", but even without those three, this class is impressive.

I'd personally prefer Webb out of those three. He is really a dynamic football player. Dunbar has looked impressive but I don't think he's been much more impressive than Harden. I also think Mollberg is pretty close to Nelson.

I guess out of the 3 Webb seems the most 'out of reach' to me. His whole "wanting to get out of here" thing stinks of... wanting to get out of here. But I agree he is probably the best prospect of the 3.

Having never seen either I have zero opinion on the whole Mollberg v Nelson thing.
