2008 BT tourney game when Hoff makes the shot at the buzzer is on BTN right now for anyone who is interested. The end of the game should take place about an hour from now.

I think Hoff is well overdue for another 'pull the rabbit out of the hat' shot. Maybe Sunday vs OSU?:cheer:

I remember I was in Indy for this game but couldn't get ticks. So instead I was in a bar with ALL Indiana fans. And they were yelling NIT NIT NIT at me. And I told them to enjoy the sanctions that are going to cripple the Indiana program. I never thought they would still be horrible in 2011. But it feels good!

Definitely broke my cell phone when it went flying at the Big Ten, glasses went flying, wallet went flying, total chaos running around in there. Good memories.

God, I completely forgot how gigantic DeAndre Thomas was.

How could that guy get down the court in under 10 seconds?

I watched this game on ESPN Gamecast...didnt have that channel for some reason and once they showed the Gophers won I ran around yelling and punching stuff followed by me chugging beers to catch up with the rest of my roommates before we went out for the night. It was as happy as I have been about sports in a very long time.

I was at the bar watching the game because hardly anyone had the BTN at that time. I was the only Gophers fan there amongst a bunch of hawkeye fans. Almost everyone at the bar went crazy, especially me of course.

I followed the game the same way. I remember during the last few seconds when we fouled after the free throws, I had no idea what was going on. I could have sworn the GameCast was broken, because there was no way in hell that Indiana could get their own missed FT and get fouled so quickly. When I realized it was correct, I damn near lost it. I had given up until my roommate ran down the stairs screaming that we won.

I didn't have the channel either so I was driving to my buddy's house who did have it and listening in the car. When I got to the house there was too little time left so I sat in my car listening with a couple friends. When we heard the call we were freaking out and running around in the street. Great moment!

Okay, I am taking the bait. I was there, and our section in a sea of Indiana people at Conseco went bananas. High fives all around. Purdue people going nuts. And one holy man declaring for anyone who could hear that it was divine intervention after getting hosed on two calls intended to give Indiana the game.

A few IU hicks showed up at the establishment "assigned" to Gopher fans and sat quietly while we celebrated for a while, and then behaved like complete jerks. Outnumbering them, we chased them away after teaching them the Rouser.

Very good memories. One guy wanted to sell me his soul. I told him I don't buy them, I just help them to be free.

I was watching this game at a Legends bar in West Des Moines. I had to go out for the game because it was on BTN and I didn't get it at my house. When Blake hit the shot I screamed and slammed my empty glass on the bar. Everyone looked at me and stopped talking and it was silent. Sure was fun. :)

I believe the cheerleaders were waving beef jerky at him.
