1st Carrier Dome sellout in 10 years

The fans on the Syracuse Scout board claim that, as of Tuesday, all but 8,000 tickets were sold but that last minute sales have been ocurring in large numbers due to a an advertised price reduction for this game, plus it sounds like SU is more-or-less giving tickets away at the New York State Fair (in Syracuse).

If it is a sellout - which is being predicted - it will be the Orange's first since hosting Michigan before a sellout crowd in 1999.

Gotta get on these guys early then, if it's a sellout of reduced and free priced tickets, a few 1st quarter touchdowns could shut them up and send them packing early.

Hopefully shades of 1994. The U led by Pat Forceia did wonders to get the dome nearly full for the season opener against Penn State....of course it was probably one of the best Lion teams in school history. 56-3 final.
