I remember watching this game. JC Watts (who became a congressman) was the quarterback and Billy Sims was the big running back. They ran the wishbone. I remember when occasionally they would get into a 3 and long and Watts would throw up this wobbly duck of a pass. Looking back, I see he 2 for 4 with 36 yards passing that game. I am surprised it was that high.

If this team could somehow put together a passing game, I would be a bit more optimistic. I think a goal of 130 yards or so a game could get the team to 8 wins. Otherwise, I see 6.

Last I looked, Georgia Tech was averaging 139.3 / game. They are a good team this year so I think that goal you put out there is realistic.

We are ranked 118th in the pass so far. A little scary
