I had not seen this version. Nicely done with the available media.

From the author:

"This is The 10/22/1977 Michigan at Minnesota Game. It is a Color Film with Radio Audio. Bob Ufer Calls the game. By this time The Big Ten had the reputation of being The Big 2 and The Little 8. To an extent it was deserved as only Michigan or Ohio State had won the conference for 10 years. This was not to say that neither was ever challenged in their confrontations outside of each other. It made the second year in a row that undefeated and untied Michigan, ranked #1, lost to someone other than Ohio State. In an ironic twist The Gophers became the only team to beat both Rose Bowl Participants in the same season. They had beaten Washington in an early season encounter. I claim no rights to the film or the audio but I did author this combination."

Always a treat to see any video from this game!

I remember listening to the live radio broadcast with Marty at Marty’s Corner Grocery on 42nd and Grand in south Minneapolis. Marty was sometimes a grumpy guy but he was all smiles when that game was over. Me too...
Thanks for posting this @highwayman.
What an awesome memory!

And then 3 years later when Michigan made a return trip to Memorial Stadium in 1980 for Homecoming, the theme for the Homecoming Button was "Wish Again, Michigan". I was at the game, and that wish did NOT come true.
