Being as generous as possible, I see 17 teams in the mix for the 4 CFP spots. Only one of those, Michigan, currently is a 2-loss team. Anyone you'd add or substract?

17 With 4 Weeks Remaining (alphabetical)
1. Alabama (1 loss) -- @ Mississippi State, 2:30
2. Baylor (undefeated) -- Oklahoma, 7
3. Clemson (undefeated) -- @ Syracuse, 2:30
4. Florida (1 loss) -- @ South Carolina, 11
5. Houston (undefeated) -- Memphis, 6
6. Iowa (undefeated) -- Gophers, 7
7. LSU (1 loss) -- Arkansas, 6:15
8. Michigan (2 losses) -- @ Indiana, 2:30
9. Michigan State (1 loss) -- Maryland, 11
10. North Carolina (1 loss) -- Miami-Florida, 2:30
11. Notre Dame (1 loss) -- Wake Forest, 2:30
12. Ohio State (undefeated) -- @ Illinois, 11
13. Oklahoma (1 loss) -- @ Baylor, 7
14. Oklahoma State (undefeated) -- @ Iowa State, 2:30
15. Stanford (1 loss) -- Oregon, 6
16. TCU (1 loss) -- Kansas, 11
17. Utah (1 loss) -- @ Arizona, 9

Michigan is likely out in my opinion. Even if they win out and win the Big Ten title, it won't be enough.

My Projection:
1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Ohio St
4. Stanford

Glad to have you putting this together SS!

Dammit Alabama. I think I'm just getting bored of the idea watching them in the playoffs/championship again.

It's kind of fun when they lose. Especially last year when they dominated early...

Michigan is out. I think the interesting question is who gets left out if Notre Dame gets in. My personal hope is that they are considered ACC and either they or Clemson get in but not both.

Right now things are not looking good for the PAC 12. A lot can change however

Am hoping all 4 Big XII contenders beat each other up, all lose at least once. A 1-loss Big XII champ will be in some peril, especially Baylor, and to a lesser extent TCU. Ok State actually in great position, with both Oklahoma and Baylor coming to Stillwater in last 2 weeks of season.

I also think a one loss P5 will get in over Houston. So they really have little chance.

i like that you included Michigan SS.

Let's say UM wins out. They'd have a win over undefeated OSU AND potentially undefeated Iowa. Only losses to Utah and MSU. 4 wins over ranked teams at the time.

They would need a bit of help but not out of the question, especially when you have the human element of the committee knowing a fluke play kept them from another win over a top 10 undefeated team.

I don't like TCU chances. They have a lot of teams to jump, and not the only chance to really make a statement win is against Baylor.

Theoretically I think the remaining teams have a chance to get in, some need a lot of help. Oklahoma would have to beat Baylor, TCU, and Ok St in consecutive weeks, so they can earn their way in.

I think it goes Clemson, Alabama, Ohio State, and Oklahoma State

Dang, that is pretty favorable to have TCU, Baylor, and Oklahoma all at home.
