From an AP article on ESPN.com college football front page: "The entire team, plus several former players and other staff for a traveling party of 149, spokesman Andy Seeley said, will attend Tinsley's funeral on Saturday in Jacksonville, Fla. There will be other yet-to-be-worked-out ways to honor Tinsley during the 2012 season, too."
That is great to hear. I am certain that Gary's family will appreciate the show of support and love for their son. Well done U of M.
This is my own note:
if you would like to help defray some of this cost, one should donate to the golden gopher fund through the gary tinsley memorial fund that has been set-up in his name. it will help defray some of the costs of the funeral, the cost of the team travelling to florida to attend the service, etc. see the link below and then click on the icon of gary about half way down the page, on the right hand side.
