13 for 13 for this Season

I just booked my flight for Houston and this trip will make me 13 for 13 attending Gopher games this year. Needless to say, I'm jacked about knocking off this bucket-list accomplishment. I know, mine is a small world but what're going to do?!? Houston, here we come!

I am flying ORD > IAH > MSP since I will be visiting family for Xmas, so my flight cost isn't relevant to most travelers.

I booked Delta Vacations and got flight and 3-nights hotel right across the street from Reliant Stadium for about $550/person. The hotel is rated 4-stars but noted that the reviews are mixed. Still, I thought this was a great deal. There isn't much in this area by the stadium however there is a light rail station nearby if you want to forgo renting a car and don't mind being limited to accessing the downtown area (airport shuttle to the hotel is free I'm told). If you do rent a car, easy highway access to whereever you need to go. I'm looking forward to being across the street for the game and any associated fan activities.
