Andre- you can call him a 2 a 1+ whatever you want to call him but in our last 2 games, against quality NCAA teams the young man has 12 assts and 1 turnover. I am as hard on the old tubster of anyone but maybe just maybe are we seeing the evolution of a quality pg and a player improving before our eyes. Last year it was the btt into the nit, hopefully this year it is the btt into a sweet 16. It will be interesting to see how he handles Scotty Wabegon (sp?) constant ball pressure.

The play late in the second half where Andre had the ball at the top of the key, was so patient, and just flung the ball to Coleman for the layup was a thing of beauty. Andre just seems to play very well in tourney games. He really broke out last year in the NIT, had his 41 point game in the preseason tourney, and then tonight.

I agree I think most point to Coleman, and Williams as being our best up tempo players but Dre really seems to respond in an open court or broken floor. And hell how bout the 9 rebounds to. Just a great effort tonight a little reminiscent of a certain 6'1 confused by his position guard we had, little more hair. He answered every UCLA run with a hoop. And I did say a little reminiscent not a lot.

NM. I need to brush up my reading comprehension skills apparently.

No Andre Hollins tonight and vs ill combined has 12 assts and 1 turnover.

The thing about the open court situation is that when you have teammates flying around and moving without the ball, it makes Dre's job a heck of a lot easier. Passing angles open up, energy is higher, it's just easier to make plays in that type of game.

Couldn't agree more from chaos comes success for a guy like Hollins.
