If Tanner plays all games this year and returns in 2021, he will easily surpass 72 TDs. Currently has 39, had 30 Tds in 13 games last year. He only needs 34 more to get to 73 TDs.

All of the issues that plagued Weber and caused him to look bad at times were the same issues that plagued Gray and Liedner

Quarterback coaching and scheme were not conducive to great quarterback play.

The switch of offense under Brewster really set him back

Aside from all the passes thrown at people’s feet, he was a great QB for us.

Back when the doofus' where saying this I used to watch and count guys like Favre, the Mannings, and Brady each week throw 3-4 passes just like that. Weber was not their league of QB, but he got trashed undeservedly. When you like a QB and he does it, "he just wants to win". When you don't like a QB and he does it, "he sucks".

Exactly. Surprised someone hasn't worked in their usual rip on Mitch yet either. Weber played behind some of the worst offensive lines and what, 4, OCs and still leads the team in TDs? It's an awesome stat and a great college career.

This. 3rd all time BT in passing yards and 5th in TDs. Most QBs get legendary status, but not at MN.
