Why is there a diacritic, or accent over the “L” in Lindenberg?

Not ashamed to admit I've had a man crush on Lindenberg since the '21 spring game. Dude just has "it"...like Blake Cashman, he's just always around the ball. Love seeing him on the field finally!
 

It is good to have options at LB. I like our defense so far. Good chance to prove itself by face-planting Colorado and then bringing the MSU offense back down to earth.

Football, more than most sports, is a developmental game where athletic skill is enhanced through learning mental aspects of the total team effort. Good players usually grow and bloom over three or four years at the college level.

Only rarely does a guy come along who shows -- right from the beginning -- a combination of speed, power, and instincts that are so natural that he stands out on the field. Cody has it, just like AWJ and Cashman had it. He's the next Gopher great on D.
 

I believe the only language with an acute accent on a capital letter L is Latin.

So maybe he comes from an ancient, and very powerful family overseas??
 




In a 62-10 game he stuck out. Buddy texted me during the game saying how good he looked. He played too early, but he looks like he grew from that and the off time due to injury.
 

PJ with PA this morning talked about how he looks, runs and hits like a Big Ten linebacker is supposed to. Does all the off the field stuff to get better. better person than player.

PJ also talked about how he has three years eligibility left.

Good luck keeping him out of the League, PJ.

Like Maxx and MB3, he will be gone early.

T Smith playing like a guy who is going to get drafted.

PJ also had similar high praise when asked about AK...

Started some as a true freshman but then tailed off a bit. Superb athlete with sprinter's speed and nice size for a CB. If he puts it all together, he's going to get a look at the next level.
