It doesn't have to be "at any cost". UMN should be able to hire a coach who recruits at a Big 10 level and doesn't make boneheaded calls on the field. Fleck is NOT that person.

His job is to win football games. If we want to "do something for the community", just fire Fleck, hire a high school coach for 100k, and donate Fleck's salary to the community.

Just curious. How many times has Fleck beaten our rival Iowa? After you look up the answer, ask yourself why Fleck still has a job.
