Yes we were blown out by Northwestern by 24. It never would've happened under the last 2 regimes? Pitino was 6-8 against Northwestern and got beat 3 times by 20 or more to Northwestern!

Hawkins wasnt the problem? 4 turnovers and 1-10 shooting. He was definately one of the problems. If we are going to win games we need him to score! With about 3 minutes to go in game, all starters except for payne, were shooting 17% between them. Some of hawkins 3's werent even close. At one point they were like 6 of 34.

You're absolutely right! Who knows how many games marquette wins in the big ten, but they have proven at times this year they are just as bad as every team in college basketball. They can be very average at times which makes me think they dont win 16 games in big ten, but what do i know.

So with the teams you've mentioned they are 1-2. I agree they are a great team, but after watching them get beat by 30 to uconn they most likely lose a few more on road in big ten just like purdue. Some people on this board thought purdue would run away in this league. Never happens. Too tough...
