I think Coach P, in Year One, has done a decent job. The team has responded well to her coaching style and improved on their defense. I am happy with the direction of the program and looking forward to seeing how things progress over the years.

Well said. I wasn't expecting that we would win against Iowa. This is something for the team to learn from and build on going forward. Each game and practice, the goal should be to learn and get better.

Definitely like what I am seeing from the program. From the quality of coaching on down the line. The vibe just seems different. Takes be back to the early 2000 level of play from the team.

Should be a pretty decent game. If we are shooting and moving the ball well and playing aggressive defense, we should be able to get the win. Stony Brook is a pretty tough and aggressive team but if we handle business, we should be okay. Go, Gophers!

Maryland is the shocker for me. It is Maryland and they have been pretty solid for two decades. Not seeing them among the Top 25 teams is a little shocking.

I kind of figured UCLA would win. I figured that it would be a little closer but UConn without size and extra snipers (Azzi or Caroline) makes winning a little harder. Congrats to UCLA and Coach Close. Huge congrats to Kiki Rice. She had a monster game.
