So did I read the article wrong or did he not mention the Gophers at all?

He is being recruited by Purdue and a couple other Power 5s (Minnesota, Marquette, Notre Dame, Providence, Northwestern, URI, and Colorado. Have been very consistent) this is one of the tweets on his page

McAndrews and Freitag both felt slighted because the Gophers weren't there first. I doubt either would have been here regardless but it further pushes the narrative that is floated around, especially in the Metro. I do agree with the statement in bold

I’m definitely questioning this offer but I guess it’s been preference. He’s not better than Jayden Moore, Chris Wiggins or Dothan Ijadimbola. Doth just seems like a can’t miss for an in state offer. It’s weird that we haven’t offered an instate 25 or 26 but we offered Tomes 1st

If he hasn’t done anything to earn it then he wouldn’t be paid it. This is crazy to say he did nothing to earn it like these kids do t have to put in work to get these opportunities & maintain them.

Doth is high major for sure he already has size and the skill set to play the wing. Jayden Moore is not a guarantee high major. He had a good weekend in Vegas but prior to that he has had an awful summer on the adidas circuit. The 2026 class outside of Doth will be limited on high major kids

He is def not 2nd best. 1 is a 5’9 PG the other is a 6’5 Wing. I’m taking the 6’5 athletic kid who can score on the perimeter

Mitchell can be for all we know. How can you see something when there hasn’t been anything to see. That VG team was pick to finish low as well. He exceeded expectations
