There has been very little discussion of the Spring Game on here, besides the article on the front page. How did the team look? Was the offense more effective than last year? Who stood out?

The board seems a bit off for a week like this. I know things arent going that great, but this is WISCONSIN. This is the one game that saves any season. This is the game that you look forward to most when you pick up your season tickets. I'll start: Because Ralph Sampson is a champ.

The U's Club Rugby team plays this saturday (10/17) at TCF Bank Stadium. The game starts at 1:30 against Wisconsin. Heres one more chance to get that Badger hatred out.

I had the privilege of getting to run around on the field inside the Bank today. With the heavy rain today I have to say I was disappointed in the fields drainage system. The turf was retaining water like a pregnant woman. Things will be pretty slick for any rain games we will encounter...

I was pretty high up in the second deck in the student section, out of the way of most of the crowd noise. What was the volume like down closer to the field?

Walking by and gazing in awe at the stadium, I saw that they were running video through the auxiliary scoreboard and the narrow banner scoreboards on the upper deck. Pretty much just American Flag stuff, but still was pretty cool to see.
